STATESBORO, Ga. – In May 2017 the Sun Belt Conference's top 10 teams will contest the 39th Sun Belt Baseball Tournament in Statesboro on Jack Stallings Field at J.I. Clements Stadium. The six-day tournament features a new format in 2017 with an additional day of action. Tickets for the tournament are available now at GSEagles.com/Tickets. 

Secure your seat to every game by purchasing All Tournament Passes (minimum of fifteen games) starting at just $45.00. Single session passes are on sale now and start at $10.00. The tournament is divided into eight sessions with two games in each session (except the single championship game on Sunday). A ninth session will be played if necessary due to the double elimination format. The bracket will be announced on May 20th following the final round of regular season play.
 
Full-time Georgia Southern students and students of participating Sun Belt teams will get a free General Admission seat with a valid student ID.

For the first time since 1994, the Sun Belt Conference will return to divisional play. The league is split into two six-team divisions which with divisional championships awarded at the end of the regular season against all teams. The division champions earn the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in the tournament with the remaining eight slots based off winning percentage in conference play.

Georgia Southern is joined in the East Division by Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, South Alabama and Troy. The West Division features Arkansas State, Little Rock, Louisiana, ULM, UT Arlington and Texas State.

With the introduction of divisions comes the addition of a preliminary round on Tuesday, May 23rd. The No. 8 and No. 9 seeds and the No. 7 and No. 10 seeds will play a single elimination game to reach the double elimination portion of the tournament which starts on Wednesday, May 24th.
