STATESBORO -
Following the final pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, several former Georgia Southern football players wasted little time in agreeing to free agent deals with various squads. Here is a running list of Eagles who will be signing with NFL teams, along with a quote from head coach Tyson Summers:

Ironhead Gallon, S, Arizona Cardinals
QUICKLY: Gallon had a big senior season, earning first-team All-Sun Belt honors from both the conference and Phil Steele. He played 925 total snaps (814 defensive, 111 special teams)  and finished the season second on the team for tackles with 102 with 6.0 being for a loss. The Madison, Florida, native recorded six games with 10+ tackles his final season and blocked four kicks in his career.

SUMMERS ON GALLON: "I can't say enough about what Ironhead brings to the table. He has an unbelievable work ethic and football intelligence, but is also a great young man who does right by all things he does. He has all of the tangibles you are looking for and he will be a positive impact for the Cardinals."

Montay Crockett, WR, Green Bay Packers
QUICKLY:
Crockett started and played in all 12 games as a senior, recording 24 catches for 339 yards and one touchdown. The Rock Hill, South Carolina, native also had two carries for 25 yards, 12 punt returns for 125 yards and 12 kick returns for 241 yards.

SUMMERS ON CROCKETT: "Montay worked extremely hard over the past year. He improved his weight, strength and speed. He will be a dynamic player for the Packers."

Younghoe Koo, PK, Los Angeles Chargers
QUICKLY:
Koo put together one of the greatest kicking seasons in school history, becoming the program's first FBS All-American when he was named to Phil Steele's third-team squad. The Ridgewood, New Jersey, native was a finalist for the Lou Groza Award, also a program first, and was named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference. Koo led the Eagles in scoring with 85 points and was second in the country in field goal percentage, hitting 19 of 20 tries.

SUMMERS ON KOO: "Younghoe proved that he was one of the best kickers in the country last year and was a national finalist for the Lou Groza Award. We're excited about his future and his career in the NFL and the opportunity he's getting with the Chargers."

Andy Kwon, OL, Arizona Cardinals
QUICKLY:
Kwon started and played all 12 games for the Eagles at center. The Suwanee, Georgia, native was name first-team All-Sun Belt selection by the conference and Phil Steele. He was on the field for a team-high 860 offensive snaps and had a team-high 46 knockdowns. Kwon had a season-high seven knockdowns against ULM and was able to record a knockdown in 11 games.

SUMMERS ON KWON: "Andy Kwon was a leader for us up front the past two seasons and it's exciting to see him get a chance at the next level. The Cardinals are getting a hard worker who can be a versatile player along the line and we wish him the best of luck."
