Georgia Southern will play in its second Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship as the Eagles travel to Muscle Shoals, Ala., to compete for the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.Â
The Eagles have soared in just their second year of existence, winning the school's first team title just over a month ago. Georgia Southern has placed in the top-5 as a team four times this season, and individuals have placed in the top-5 five times, top-10 eight times and top-20 11 times.

Ansley Bowman,
Ella Ofstedahl and
Taylor Thompson will make up the Eagle quintet this week. Hvass has been in the lineup for all 20 tournaments of her two-year Georgia Southern career, while senior transfer
Lauren Coe has been in the lineup for every tournament this season. Bowman will make her eighth start of the year, and Thompson will make her third start of the spring. Ofstedahl plays in her fourth tournament of the season and first this spring.
A 2016 All-Sun Belt selection, Hvass has three career top-10 finishes and six top-20s, and the senior tied for 13th at 2016 Sun Belt Championship. Bowman has three top-30 finishes this year, including two in the top-20, and the sophomore tied for 29th at the 2016 Sun Belt Championship. Coe is making her 10th start this season and has four top-25 finishes.
The Eagles are paired with Georgia State and Little Rock for Monday's first round and will tee off hole 1 at 9 a.m. ET.
