After three straight tournaments in February to start  the spring, the Eagles had a couple weeks off before traveling to the WKU-Southern Miss Spring Break Shootout in Dade City, Fla. It will be the Eagles' third tournament in Florida this season.

GS will go with the same lineup as the first three tournaments this spring.  Hvass has been in the lineup for all 17 tournaments of her Georgia Southern career, while Macioce will make her 16th start. Shin gets the nod for the 15th time in her career. Senior transfer Lauren Coe has been in the lineup for every tournament this season, and Bowman will make her sixth start of the year. Thompson plays as an individual for the second time this season.

Macioce tied for eighth, and Georgia Southern placed 11th of 43 teams at the Edwin Watts Kiawah Island Spring Classic in the Eagles' last outing. It was the third straight top-10 for Macioce and the fifth of her career. Hvass (+8) tied for 40th in the field of 232 competitors, while Coe (+14) and Bowman each tied for 88th. Shin (+16) tied for 104th. The tournament is the largest collegiate golf tournament in the country.

Following the trip to Florida, the Eagles have one more tune-up before the Sun Belt Conference Championship. GS stays in state at the Hennsler Intercollegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State in Atlanta, March 27-28.
