NEW ORLEANS - Ryan Cleveland was named Sun Belt Baseball Player of the Week after an impressive opening week of the season. The Eagle senior hit .556 in the first three games of the year with seven RBIs. The Eagles face Georgia Tech on Tuesday night before hosting Georgia for a three game series this weekend.

On Sunday he went 2-for-3 (with another double), driving in three runs. The first run came via a sacrifice fly, the remaining two were insurance runs the senior plated with a double in a four-run seventh inning.
The Eagles welcome Georgia to Jack Stallings Field at J.I. Clements Stadium this weekend for a three game series between the Eagles and Bulldogs. First pitch on Friday night is set for 6:30 p.m.
