Courtney Weekley Named SoCon Small Bore Shooter of the Month

The junior team captain caps the fall semester with Georgia Southern's first SoCon monthly honor
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Georgia Southern Rifle picked up its first Southern Conference Shooter of the Month award on Monday when junior Courtney Weekley was selected as the league's small bore honoree for the month of November.
A native of Leesburg, Ga., Weekley set the Georgia Southern school record in small bore with a 575 at the NRA Sectional on November 11th, placing third on the day behind a pair from NC State. Her other outing of the month was a third place finish with a 565 against UAB in Statesboro on Nov. 4.
The Eagles return to the range on January 20th as Wofford and The Citadel come to Statesboro for the final home match of the 2017-18 campaign.
