The junior captain delivers a school record score at NRA Collegiate Sectional

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Georgia Southern Rifle competed for the final time this fall, placing third at the NRA Collegiate Sectional, hosted by The Citadel. Courtney Weekley's school record 575 in small bore lifted the junior to a third place finish, leading a cadre of three Eagles placing in the top-10

Weekley also tied a career high in air rifle (584) to post a career-best 1,159 aggregate score. Rosemary Kramer placed ninth with a 1,140 aggregate score ahead of Lilyanne Wade's 1,138 score which placed 10th, tying her career record in small bore (563).

The Eagles return to the range on January 20th as Wofford and The Citadel come to Statesboro for the final home match of the 2017-18 campaign.
