NEW ORLEANS – A combination of 18 Georgia Southern men's and women's basketball Sun Belt games will be broadcast as part of the Sun Belt Conference television and digital package, and all of them will be available on ESPN3 and the ESPN app.

The Sun Belt Conference announced for a fourth straight year its largest television and digital package ever for men's and women's basketball on the ESPN family of networks. A total of 148 games are set for live telecasts on ESPN3 and availability on the ESPN app with four additional games airing live on ESPN2.
 
Regular season contests as well as all games of the men's and women's basketball championship will be aired on ESPN3, while three regular season men's basketball games and the championship game of the men's basketball tournament will air on ESPN2.
 
Sun Belt men's basketball will continue to have a prime viewing slot on Selection Sunday with the championship game of the men's basketball tournament set to air at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2 Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Georgia Southern's home men's basketball contest against Georgia State in Hanner Fieldhouse will air live on ESPN2 Friday, Feb. 16, at 9 p.m. ET. In addition, the Eagles' matchup at Troy Dec. 29 is a possibility for an ESPN wildcard game. The network will select a game to air on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. ET at minimum 22 days prior to Dec. 29.

The addition of the Sun Belt package gives the Georgia Southern men's basketball team 13 live broadcasts this season with a chance at a 14th. Ten Eagle Sun Belt games will air on ESPN3 or ESPN2, and non-conference games at Wake Forest (ACC Extra), Bradley (ESPN3) and Kennesaw State (ESPN3) will also be carried.

The Georgia Southern's women's program will have eight contests broadcast on ESPN3 as part of the Sun Belt package. In addition, the Eagles' game at Mercer Nov. 16 will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Member institutions will deliver 116 men's and women's basketball on-campus productions on ESPN3 this season as part of an increased commitment to student and faculty managed live-game production on Sun Belt campuses.

On-campus productions carried on ESPN3 offer unique opportunities for students and staff at each Sun Belt Conference member institution in live-game production. ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually. The Georgia Southern men open their season at Wake Forest tonight at 7:30 p.m. on ACC Extra (WatchESPN.com or WatchESPN App), while the women tip off the campaign this evening at 5:30 p.m. at North Carolina A&T.
