LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. – After their last meet was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma, Georgia Southern Cross Country returned to racing action on Saturday morning at the Disney Cross Country Classic. The 5K event took place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the shadow of the Magic Kingdom.
The top four Eagles finished with less than a one minute spread.
Ellunde Montgomery finished 29th in 19:33.4, followed by
Rebecca Parker,
Sholonda Snell, and
Kaitlyn Rocker. Next up for the Eagles is a trip to the Crimson Classic, hosted by Alabama this Friday.
