CHARLESTON, S.C. - Georgia Southern Rifle's record-breaking fall continued this weekend with all three team records and all three individual records falling in a two-day SoCon match, hosted by The Citadel. The Eagles placed first in the five-team match, defeating The Citadel's co-ed team by two points. A total of 13 personal best scores were recorded as the Eagles returned to the site of their 2016 SoCon Air Rifle Championship.

The first three relays of the match were shot on Saturday morning and afternoon before a problem with the range forced the final relay to be pushed to Sunday morning.

Rosemary Kramer set new school records in aggregate score (1164) and air rifle (591) while tying her small bore school record of 573. The junior placed first overall with three Eagles in the top five. Lilyanne Wade was third overall with career-best scores in all three categories, while Courtney Weekley placed third with career-bests in air rifle and aggregate score.
