Georgia Southern returns to action at the Autotrader Collegiate Classic Oct. 16-17. It's the Eagles fourth appearance in the tournament, and the Eagles won the event in 2012, its second year of existence. GS finished seventh in the tournament last season.

The Eagles are coming off a second-place finish at the Fighting Irish Classic last weekend. Each of the five players in the lineup shot at least 67 or better in one round of the tournament, and Steven Fisk, Archer Price and Brett Barron shot 67 in the final round. Georgia Southern finished the day with a 273, their lowest round since 2005 and two away from the school record of 271, set at the 1980 Gator Invitational.

Georgia Southern has finished in the top-6 in seven of its last eight tournaments, dating back to last season.

Fisk was co-champion at Notre Dame, his second collegiate title, and the junior has 11 top-10 finishes in his career. Price tied for fourth for the second top-5 finish of his career and his 12th time in the top-20. The senior birdied his last six holes of the event.

Price makes his 34th career start, Fisk will make his 26th career start and Jake Storey is in the lineup for the 30th time. Barron plays in his 15th tournament and has played in every event in his short career, while Alakulppi makes his seventh career start. Fisk, Price, Storey and Barron have been in the lineup for the last 12 tournaments, dating back to the start of the 2016-17 campaign.

The Eagles are paired with Davidson, Bowling Green and Mississippi State and will tee of holes 13-16 in an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Monday.

GS wraps up the fall with a trip to Kauai, Hawaii and the Princeville Makai Invitational Oct. 29-31. The Eagles placed 11th of 19 teams at the event last season.
