Men’s Basketball Alumni Weekend Set for January 20 - 21, 2017

STATESBORO, Ga - Former members of the men's basketball program at Georgia Southern University are invited back to campus for the Men's Basketball Alumni Weekend Friday, January 20 - Saturday, January 21, 2017.

All former players, coaches, trainers, equipment managers and their families are invited to attend to the alumni weekend to reconnect with former teammates and friends while learning more about the impressive 2016-17 men's basketball season.  

The weekend will kick off on Friday, January 20, with an social at Springhill Suites. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be available and are sponsored in part by Todd Miller and his family.

Saturday, January 21, will make for an eventful day. Attendees will receive a private tour of the recent renovations at Hanner Fieldhouse, attend both the women's and men's Blue Out games against App State, receive on-court recognition, honor the 30th anniversary of the 1987 Trans America Athletic Conference championship team and end the evening at the Clubhouse for an evening of bowling.

Eagle Basketball Alumni will receive one complimentary ticket to both the men's and women's basketball games against App State on Saturday, January 21. Additional tickets are available for purchase on the event's RSVP.
