TOWT pays a visit to the men's soccer team
STATESBORO, Ga.— Former GS All Access sports reporter Tricia Fishbune plays a different role this year in a new show titled "Timeout with Trish" which aims to show the fun side of Eagles athletics and the personalities of the student-athletes and coaches.
During each episode, TOWT creates challenges, games and mischief for the Eagles. To start off, Trish pays a visit to the men's soccer team who grabbed a share of the regular-season Sun Belt title this season under Sun Belt's Coach of the Year John Murphy. Murphy comes to Statesboro from Boston and brings his New England accent.
Players Hunter Loyden, Jeremy Rector, Emil Laursen, Chris MacMurray and Thor Sveinbjornsson were able to try their hand at the Boston accent and guess (unsuccessfully) some of the region's catchphrases.
Despite the language barrier, the team went 3-1-1 in conference play under Murphy's direction.
Throughout the year, TOWT will visit different teams, and the episodes will air on GS All Access at GSEagles.com. #TOWT
