NORFOLK, VA. – Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving is among a record breaking group of programs to be named Scholar All-American by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). "Doing well in the classroom is something that is very important to our program," said Head Coach
Laura Thomas. "We have a team goal of a 3.50 so we still have some work to do in the classroom, but we will get there."
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the fall semester.
