STATESBORO, Ga. – On Saturday, the Georgia Southern Track and Field team will compete in the Wake Forest Invite at the JDL Fast Track, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This will be the first meet of the indoor season for the Eagles.

Over 30 schools will be represented in the events on Saturday. Events will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the 60m Hurdles and the Shot Put will conclude at 6:15 p.m.

"In this first meet of the new year I look forward to seeing the results of the hard work our young ladies have put in," said head coach
Kelly Carter. "Both from successful fall training and strong cross country regional performances. I anticipate solid performances at the JDL facility, which had been known to provide good competition, and that we will continue to make the Eagle Nation proud."

After Saturday, the Eagles will return to action on Jan. 29Â in Greensboro, North Carolina, for the UNCG Duel Meet Madness.
