Georgia Southern returns to action at the Jacksonville Classic Monday and Tuesday. It's the Eagles' third of four tournaments in the fall season.

"We are excited to be in Jacksonville at a great golf course and event," said Georgia Southern coach Emily Kuhfeld. "This will be target golf very much like the Charleston tournament, and our strategies and commitment to our shots will play a huge part in our performance."

Georgia Southern is coming off a ninth-place outing in the Mary Fossum Invitational at Michigan State Sept. 24. It was the farthest north the Eagles had ever traveled for a tournament. 

Freshman Ella Ofstedahl shot a 75-76-77=228 and tied for 18th in her collegiate debut. Iben Hvass shot 74-78-78=230 to tie for 29th with teammate Yeji Shin, who carded a 78-73-79=230.

Hvass has been in the lineup for all 13 tournaments of her Georgia Southern career, while Shin and Macioce will make their 12th career starts. Ofstedahl gets the nod for the second straight week, and Julianna Collett will play as an individual.

The Eagles conclude the fall season Oct. 10-11 at the Terrier Intercollegiate.
