The Georgia Southern men's golf team will travel to Raleigh, N.C., to compete in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State. The Eagles' last scheduled tournament, the Primland Invitational, was canceld due to fog Tuesday.

"We're looking forward to getting back on the course in a tournament setting after getting canceled last week," said coach Carter Collins. "This will be a tough test against a quality field on a tournament course that has hosted NCAA events."

The Eagles took fourth in the Invitational at The Ocean Course in the season's first tournament Sept. 12-13. Archer Price placed sixth, and Jake Storey tied for 11th. 

Freshman Brett Barron will make his first appearance in the lineup this week. He played as individual in the first tournament.
 
Lonnie Poole Golf Course hosted the 2014 NCAA Men's Regional and the 2015 NCAA Women's Regional. Located on 250 acres inside the city of Raleigh, the golf course routing is dictated by large elevation changes, and it meanders around large buffer areas that were left in place to protect streams and wetlands in the Neuse River watershed.

Following the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, Georgia Southern travels to the AutoTrader.com Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State, Oct. 17-18.
