Alumni and current athletes competed and connected on the courts
In conjunction with the All-Sports Reunion this past weekend, the Georgia Southern tennis programs hosted their first annual alumni event at the Wallis Tennis Center.
The Eagles tennis programs held a round-robin tournament, where tennis alumni as well as current student-athletes competed with and against each other. Alumni were paired with a different student-athlete each round, and were able to compete for prizes that were given out to the top four competitors at the end of the event. All tennis alumni also received one complimentary ticket to the football game against UL Monroe.
"It was really great to see all of our alumni back on the courts this past weekend," said head women's tennis coach Michele Stanford. "Everyone had a lot of fun playing doubles with both the past and current Eagles. We are definitely looking forward to hosting this event again next year!"
