Top Players Returning
The Eagles take on a familiar opponent as quarterback Justin Thomas enters his senior year. Leading former GS head coach Paul Johnson's triple option offense, Thomas (12 GP, 145-488 yds, 3.4 Avg, 6 TDs) was second on the team in rushing and led the team in passing (1,345 yds, 13 TDs, 8 INTs, 41.7 pct). Joining Thomas in the backfield is sophomore B-back Marcus Marshall (11 GP, 86-654 yds, 7.6 Avg, 4 TDs). Marshall led the team in rushing as a true freshman in 2015. The Jackets return their leading receiver as Ricky Jeune (12 GP, 24-520 yds, 21.7 avg, 4 TDs) comes back for his junior year.
