Lightning Suspends Georgia Southern vs. UT Arlington Game

Resumption set for 9 a.m. (CT) on Friday
SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – Two lengthy rain and lightning delays on Thursday has forced the Sun Belt Conference to suspend the Georgia Southern-UT Arlington game in the third inning. Lightning sent the teams to shelter with two outs in the third after the Eagles scored the game's opening run earlier in the inning. The contest will be resumed on Friday morning at 9 a.m.
