DESTIN, Fla. – Georgia Southern junior
Iben Hvass was named second-team All-Sun Belt in  a vote by the league's coaches, it was announced at the conference awards banquet following the second round of the Sun Belt Championship Monday night.
Hvass led the Eagles with a 76.44 scoring average in their inaugural season and is currently tied for 14th at the Sun Belt Championship. She has finished in the top-20 three times this season, and her best outing was a T-10 at the Amelia Island Collegiate Feb. 23.
Georgia Southern posted a 298 today to move four spots up the leaderboard and into a tie for fourth. The Eagles (+50) are tied with Georgia State, five strokes behind third-place Little Rock (+45).
Georgia Southern will tee off hole 1 at 7:30 a.m. CT in tomorrow's final round. The Eagles are paired with Georgia State and South Alabama.Â
