South Alabama (26-12, 14-3 SBC) edged out to a 2-0 lead through the first two innings with single runs in the top of the first and second but Snider ripped a two-run home run over the left field fence to tie the game at two-all in the bottom of the third.
Lydia Witkowski scored on Snider's her fourth homer of the season.
The Jags were able to edge ahead by a run in the top of the fourth inning, but the Eagles (25-19, 10-5) retook the lead for good in the bottom of the fifth when Robinson knocked a two-run double off the right field fence, scoring

Freshman pitcher

COACH SMITH SAYS"The team came together after yesterday's games and said they knew they didn't play well. But they came out today with good energy and fought hard throughout the game. It was great for us to get this big win over a good program, especially because I felt that our entire team competed very well today. We received some big hits at key moments from different players, the team played well in the field and our pitching was solid. We just have to keep taking things one game at a time."
UP NEXTGeorgia Southern will be on the road for the next six games beginning with Tuesday, April 17.
