Men's Tennis Welcomes Stefano Di Aloy

Eagles welcome new members in the spring

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern men's tennis will be welcoming a member to the team this spring. Coach Sander Koning announced that Stefano Di Aloy (Buenos Aires, Argentina/SEADEA) will be joining the Eagles for the spring 2017 season.
 
"Attending Georgia Southern University is one of my best achievements in my life," said Stefano Di Aloy. "It is a place that I find really special and that has a great group of people. Besides, I will study the major that I love and I will have the best facilities to succeed."
 
Di Aloy enters his first season with the Eagles after winning two National Grade 1 tournaments, as well as two National Grade 2 tournaments in Argentina. In 2009 he became South American Champion representing Argentina. In 2011 Di Aloy Represented Argentina in the World Junior Tennis Finals, as well as in the Europe Tour. During his juniors career he achieved the highest National Junior rank of third, while also achieving a National rank of 40th. Stefano will join the Eagles in the spring and study Health and Physical Education at Georgia Southern.
