Younghoe Koo has been named the Sun Belt Conference's Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance at New Mexico State, as announced Monday morning. Koo connected all on all three field goals as the Eagles beat the Aggies 22-19. The senior has now made all 13 field goals this season, setting a new school record for consecutive field goals made in a season. Koo hit field goals of 25, 22 and 29 yards as the Eagles won by three points.
Koo's 13 straight makes set a new school record for consecutive field goals made in a season, breaking Tim Foley's streak of 12 set in 1985. The school record for consecutive field goals made is 19, set by Foley. Foley made his last 12 field goals of 1985 and the first seven of 1986.
Koo is one of four FBS kickers who have not missed a field goal amd he's made the most of those four. Parker Shaunfield of Southern Miss has made all 11 of his field goals, Tyler Durbin (Ohio St.) is 10 for 10 and Rigoberto Sanchez of Hawaii has made all eight of his kicks. Koo is the only one of those four with a made field goal of 50 yards or more thanks to his 53-yarder at Arkansas State.

Jordan Chunn (Troy, QB, Jr., Criminal Justice)
The "MegaChunn" was in full effect for Troy on Thursday night at South Alabama. Jordan Chunn rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on just 23 carries in Troy's road victory over the Jags. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry and also caught five passes for 34 yards; Chunn finished the game with a game-high 177 all-purpose yards. It was Chunn's fourth game this season with 100-plus rushing yards. He leads the Sun Belt with seven rushing touchdowns on the year and with a 116.6 per game average. With Troy trailing 21-14 in the fourth quarter, Chunn took over the game. On the game-tying drive, Chunn had rushes of 24 and 23 yards before punching it in from two yards out. He also added the game-winner with just 80 seconds remaining in the game.
Defensive Player of the Week
Clifton Duck (Appalachian State, Freshman, Defensive Back, Undecided)
Clifton Duck had two interceptions – one he returned 44 yards for a touchdown – as App State topped Idaho on Saturday, 37-19. The true freshman picked off Matt Linehan on the Vandals' second snap of the second half and raced 44 yards down the sideline to push the App lead to 20-6 at the time. Duck added a second interception in the fourth quarter, wrestling the ball away from an Idaho receiver in App territory. Duck is tied for third nationally with four interceptions.
