STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern men's tennis team will travel to Tallahassee, Florida to compete in the ITA Regional Championships beginning Wednesday October 19
th. Four Eagles will compete in Tallahassee this weekend.
JC Alcala and
Dani Casablancas earned a spot in the main draw, while
Eddie Landin and
Diego Finkelstein earned spots in the qualifying draw.

The USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships will feature athletes from across the southeast, competing in individual and doubles tournaments. The Championships will run from Wednesday October 19
th until Monday October 24
th. The winner from each of the USTA/ITA Division I Regional Championships will receive and automatic entry into the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, which will be held on November 3
rd through the 6
th in Flushing, New York.

"We are looking forward to this tournament. The guys have been working hard after playing the first tournament and they are excited to go to this one." Said coach
Sander Koning. "It's a privilege to play in this tournament, which has a lot good teams participating. We are looking to gain the experience of playing against these good teams, because we will face some of them this upcoming spring."

Last time out, the Eagles traveled to Mercer for the Gridiron Classic.
Murphy McCullough would win his singles draw in straight sets.
Santiago Suarez and
Artemie Amari played well all weekend winning their finals draw in doubles against the host team Mercer.
