STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern will hold a Hoops Fan Fest Oct. 26, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Fans will have the chance to meet student-athletes and coaches from the men's and women's basketball teams. Admission and parking is free, the first 200 fans in attendance will receive free T-shirts and concessions will be open with popcorn and drinks available for purchase.

The arena floor will be split in half with inflatables for the kids and an autograph session on one side and team scrimmages, a skills session and an interactive area for kids on the other side.

Fans will be able to pick up 2016-17 schedule posters and schedule cards as well as purchase season tickets. Season tickets, which are good for both men's and women's home games, start as low as $90, and fans can save over $200 by purchasing season tickets.

The women's team opens the season in an exhibition game against Coastal Georgia Nov. 1. The men's team opens the campaign with an exhibition game against Lees-McRae Nov. 3. Both games are in Hanner Fieldhouse and tip off at 7 p.m.
