Free Kids Baseball Field Day Set for Feb. 6

Annual event precedes basketball doubleheader against Texas State
STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern baseball team will hold a free Little Eagles Baseball Field Day for kids ages 6-12 on February 6 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at J.I. Clements Stadium.
The Eagle baseball team will host an open scrimmage beginning at Noon, and check in for the field day begins at 2:30 p.m.
Kids attending the field day will have the opportunity to meet Head Baseball Coach Rodney Hennon, the coaching staff and players, learn baseball skills and attend an autograph session following the event.
Information on baseball tickets and the Junior Eagle Club will be available.

Following the field day, participants can head over to Hanner Fieldhouse for a basketball doubleheader vs. Texas State. Women tip-off at 4:30 p.m. followed by the men at 7:00 p.m. Pack the House in Pink is the promotion for the day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Education.
