Why I chose Georgia Southern:Â Right from the start, Coach Kuhfeld and I got on so well and before I even visited, I knew I was going to love Georgia Southern. The university lived up to and beyond my expectations. The practice facilities are amazing and the campus itself is impressive. After meeting all the girls, I can't wait to be a part of the team and have the opportunity to represent Georgia Southern.
After graduation I would like to:Â Turn professional and try to compete on tour and perhaps become a college golf coach later on.
Coach Kuhfeld on Ofstedahl:Â "I saw Ella play in Ireland at the British Girl's Championship two summers ago, and her game and demeanor stood out to me right away. Ella brings many things to our young program, and in particular, a first class attitude, experience, and knowledge of her game. She has a wonderful and supportive family who are excited about Ella playing college golf in the U.S., and their enthusiasm is contagious! Ella has continued to grow and improve since her verbal commitment, and I can't wait to have her join us next fall!"
