BOISE, IDAHO – Georgia Southern Men's Basketball standout Tre Bussey has been selected to the NBA Development League's Idaho Stampede in the league's draft on November 1st. Bussey has earned a spot on the Stampede's 17-man training camp roster which will be trimmed to 10 players before the season-opener on November 14th.

Last season, Bussey scored 1,206 career points and averaged 16.2 points per game as a senior. He shot 38% from downtown while playing 34.9 minutes per game. He scored a career-high 29 points on two occasions last season including in the regular season finale at The Citadel.

Bussey, remains a free agent to NBA teams despite playing for the Stampede which is affiliated with the Utah Jazz. The league has 18 teams and will play 50 regular season games beginning on November 14th. All NBA D-League contests can be seen live on YouTube.

Georgia Southern Men's Basketball plays a preseason exhibition game on November 7th against North Greenville before the 2014-15 regular season opener on November 14th at Illinois.
