STATESBORO, Ga. – The support of the Georgia Southern University campus community has helped lift the Eagle Football team to a record-setting year in the FBS and Sun Belt Conference. To show appreciation for the spirit and support of the Georgia Southern University campus community, the Athletics Department is providing 4,000 free tickets to University employees and offering free Buddy passes for students.

The home-field advantage Georgia Southern has enjoyed this year is due to its devoted Eagle fans, alumni and students and the Eagles are undefeated in their home games at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. With an 8-3 record overall with a perfect 7-0 mark in Sun Belt Conference games, the November 29th home game vs. the Warhawks could figure decisively into the race for the league title.

One celebration is certain as Georgia Southern will honor its 21 seniors for their contributions to the program prior to their last game at Paulson Stadium. These Eagles have helped the program soar to new heights and have posted 46 wins over the last five seasons.

For this game during the Thanksgiving weekend, additional ticket specials for the Eagles vs. Warhawks game are offered to Eagle fans and alumni with lower-level seats in the North Stands for $20, covered seating in sections in 101-104 and 110-113 at $28 each and mid-deck tickets for $15 each.
