Eagle Fun Zone Trick or Treat Thursday

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern University will hold its annual Student Appreciation game and Breast Cancer Awareness along with a Eagle Fun Zone Trick or Treat game this week against Troy.

Eagle Fun Zone Trick or Treat
Kids are encouraged to stop by the Eagle Fun Zone located inside Gate 5 between 6 and 7 pm prior to kickoff for an opportunity to take pictures with GUS and candy from Georgia Southern Athletics. Junior Eagle Club members will also receive a special JEC goodie bag. Children are encouraged to dress in their halloween costumes. 

Student Appreciation
Students will have a chance to win over $10,000 in prizes and promotions, Atlanta Braves tickets and t-shirts during Thursday's game. The Georgia Lottery will be giving away two $1,000 prizes to students during the game and students can sign up at the Marketing Kiosk behind section 101 to register to participate in on-field promotions that include a total of $10,000 in winnings. 

Tackling a Cure - Breast Cancer Awareness
Zeta Tau Alpha's National Philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Fans are encouraged to visit a number of stations before and during the game to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Education.  Members of Zeta Tau Alpha will hand out free pink ribbons, free pink lemonade and sell t-shirts for $15.00. All proceeds from the t-shirts will be donated towards Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. The stations will be located outside gate 12 pregame and on the North and South concourses during the game.
