Zach Bell serves as the director of recruiting for Georgia Southern football, a position he has held since January 2017. Bell is responsible for the direct production and distribution of written and visual content on all social media platforms, as well as maximizing brand exposure, through channels such as GATA Lifestyle.
Bell returns to Statesboro after a one-year stint with the Fresno State football program, where he served as the director of creative media/personnel assistant for the Bulldogs. During the season, he served as the assistant director of player personnel and football operations before being promoted to the role he finished in.
A native of Dalton, Georgia, Bell began working with Georgia Southern in 2014 as a student assistant and worked his way up to recruiting/player personnel intern and finally assistant director of player personnel in January 2016.
Bell graduated from Georgia Southern in 2015 with a degree in exercise science. He and his wife, Kayla Marie Bell, have a daughter, Ramsey Kate, who was born on Aug. 16, 2016 in Statesboro.
