Highest honors in the sport bestowed upon team members
STATESBORO - Bremen Butler, Emma Pohlmann and Emme Walrath of the Georgia Southern rifle team have been named All-Americans by the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Associate (CRCA), as announced by the organization.
Butler, a junior from Fort Wayne, Indiana:
A first-team CRCA All-American in air rifle and an honorable mention selection in aggregate … The SoCon Air Rifle Athlete of the Year … An All-American for the second time … Made first-team all-conference in both disciplines … The runner-up in the SoCon smallbore finals … Placed fourth in the air rifle finals … Averaged 585.933 in smallbore, a school-record 596.800 in air rifle and 1,182.733 in aggregate … Represented the squad at the NCAA Championship … Had five 599s in air rifle on the season … Season high in smallbore was 591 and aggregate was 1,190 … The SoCon Air Rifle Athlete of the Month for October … Made the Honor Roll in the fall.
Pohlmann, a senior from Enschede, Germany:
A second-team All-American by the CRCA in air rifle … An All-American for the second time … A first-team all-conference selection in both smallbore and in air rifle … Took third place in the SoCon smallbore finals … Placed sixth in the air rifle finals … Averaged 584.333 in smallbore, 595.600 in air rifle and 1,179.933 in aggregate … Represented the team at the NCAA Championship … Season highs were 591 in smallbore, 599 in air rifle and 1,189 aggregate … Named the SoCon Smallbore Athlete of the Month for November … Made the Honor Roll in the fall.
Walrath, a sophomore from Kenosha, Wisconsin:

The Eagle squad qualified for the 2026 NCAA Rifle Championship for the second year in a row and won its fifth straight SoCon title.
Georgia Southern rifle has now had seven student-athletes earn 22 All-America honors in its program history.
