
Men’s Basketball Announces Signing of Transfer Guard Dallas Gardner

Guard averaged 15.1 points per game and was a big part of UNC Pembroke's run to the Southeast Regional Final
STATESBORO– Men's basketball has announced another addition to the 2025-26 roster, bringing in UNC Pembroke transfer Dallas Gardner.
Gardner, a 6-3 guard, spent the last two seasons with the Braves, averaging 11.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists, shooting nearly 50 percent (49.8) from the field and 29-99 (.298) from three.
This season, Gardner exploded to 15.3 points per game and 5.3 rebounds, scoring in double digits in all but three games. He shot 48.5 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three, guiding the Braves to a berth in the NCAA Southeast Regional Final.
Gardner contributed five 20+ point efforts and two 30-point efforts, including a season-best 34 points in the Conference Carolinas championship against Emmanuel. He added a pair of double-doubles, one against Barton (Jan. 29) and one against Francis Marion (Feb. 3).
In addition, in a preseason exhibition at Duke in 2023-24, Gardner recorded 21 points at Cameron Indoor Stadium, also grabbing eight rebounds.
Last season, he finished second on the team in points (502) points per game (15.3) and finished third in rebounds (168) while leading the team in steals (38). He comes to Georgia Southern with 658 collegiate points under his belt.
Gardner will look to continue his success at the Division I level with the Eagles.
