Megan Blue is in her first season as an assistant coach for Georgia Southern. Blue recently finished a phenomenal career for the Murray State Racers as she was an all-conference selection in 2013, 2014 and 2016.
Blue had an undefeated conference record her freshman year, and was also the Murray State Newcomer of the Year in 2013. She finished out her first season on a seven-match winning streak. Blue also made two NCAA D1 Tournament appearances in 2014 and 2015, and competed in ITA Regionals in 2014. She was a two-time Ohio Valley Conference D1 Champion in 2013 and 2014, finishing her 2014 season with a career-high 17 singles wins.
Blue completed her senior year playing as No. 1 in singles and No. 2 and 3 in doubles with partner Amina Hadzic. In 2016, Blue was named to the All-OVC Second Team for the third time, and was also named a NSCA All-American.
Blue graduated from Murray State in 2016 with a bachelor of science in exercise science and pre-health professional. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Georgia Southern.Â
