PERSONAL: Born Jordan Alexander Mitchell on August 30 in Atlanta … Son of Alvin Mitchell and Nechelle Mitchell … Dad was a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox organization … Has a younger sister, Peyton … His uncle, Tim Johnson, was an All-American defensive lineman at Penn State that went on the play in the NFL for the Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, winning a Super Bowl with the Redskins.
