STATESBORO - Georgia Southern men's basketball returns to the court to face off against Louisiana Tech on Wednesday evening at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Wednesday evening is 912 night in Statesboro, where fans can purchase $9 tickets, $1 hot dogs, and $2 Bud Light. In addition, Georgia Southern Beanie's will be given away at the door.

- Georgia Southern men's basketball secured an emphatic home victory on Saturday afternoon from the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center, defeating Houston Christian, 80-62, and improving to 4-5 on the season. The Eagles were led by Alden Applewhite's second double-double of the season, which was the 30th career victory for head coach Charlie Henry. The Eagles held a plus-two margin on the rebounding front for the first time this season, and improved to 11-3 all-time inside The Hill. Applewhite guided the way with 13 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 30 minutes of action, while Spudd Webb added 19 points, Tyren Moore added 11, and Jefferson Koulibaly tacked on 15.
- The Eagles have made 87 total three-pointers on the season, posting the fourth most made in the Sun Belt Conference. Tyren Moore leads the Eagles with 27 made three-pointers and has taken the top spot in the league as well.
- Graduate guard Tyren Moore has produced 1,197 career points in his four seasons in Division I. Entering Wednesday's game against Louisiana Tech, Moore sits with 970 points in a Georgia Southern uniform. Moore looks to become the 47th Eagle all-time to collect 1,000 points with Georgia Southern.
- Alden Applewhite continued his consistent start to the 2025-26 season, recording his seventh contest of the campaign in double figures. Saturday against Houston Christian, the 6-foot-7 forward produced his second double-double of the season, scoring 13 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, adding five assists, and two steals in his 30 minutes of action. On the year, Applewhite has shot 47.0% from the field (31-66), 32.3% from three (10-31), 69.6% from the line (32-46), grabbed 46 rebounds, 14 assists, and nine steals.
