STATESBORO - Georgia Southern freshman student-athlete Emme Walrath has been honored as the SoCon Smallbore and Air Rifle Athlete of the Month for her performances in November, as announced Wednesday by the conference. She won the same two awards in October.

The Keonsha, Wisconsin, native averaged 588.0 in a pair of matches in November and currently owns the No. 6 national average in smallbore (589.571) and is tied for the No. 3 average nationally in aggregate (1187.000). She averaged 597.500 in a pair of matches in November and currently is tied for the No. 3 national average in air rifle (597.429)

The Eagles return to action in January when they travel to Murray State and Kentucky.
