STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team returns home to face the College of Charleston Cougars for a midweek game on Tuesday, March 22. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m.
Georgia Southern brings a 13-7 record into the match-up, after having won their first Sun Belt series of the season against App State and winning the previous midweek against Mercer. College of Charleston comes into the game with a 12-8 record, after taking the series from East Carolina over the weekend and defeating #2 Texas at Patriots Point, SC, in their previous midweek.
The Eagles will turn to junior LHP
Braden Hays for his first start of the season. In 2021, Hays had a 2-1 record and posted a 2.45 ERA. The Cougars will rely on RHP Trey Pooser.
