STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern head men's soccer coach John Murphy has confirmed a pair of schedule alterations for the Eagles this season.
On September 8-10, the Eagles will host the Coastal Empire Challenge. This tournament will bring NCAA Division I men's soccer to Savannah as two matches will be played on Friday, September 8th, on the campus of Armstrong State University at the Armstrong Soccer Field. JU and Gardner-Webb will play at 5 p.m., with Georgia Southern hosting Houston Baptist at 7:30 p.m.Â
Admission to these games are included in the Georgia Southern soccer season ticket package, but tickets will be available at the gate for $5. Cash only will be accepted for tickets to Friday's contests.
Sunday, September 10th, action will move back to Statesboro and Eagle Park as Gardner-Webb faces Houston Baptist at 2 p.m. and Georgia Southern will take on Jacksonville at 4:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, due to a scheduling conflict, Georgia Southern's match at South Carolina on September 25th will not be played.
SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for Georgia Southern men's soccer are currently underway. One $50 season ticket covers all home matches for both men's and women's soccer. Eagle Soccer season ticket holders will also receive a special 2017 GATA FC soccer scarf with each season ticket purchase.
