A two-year letterman on the GSU golf squad... Born December 15, 1965... Transferred to Georgia Southern from Brevard (Florida) Community College... Made an immediate impact, placing at the top 10 of three tournaments... Took medalist honors at the Trans America Athletic Conference Championship, firing a tournament record 206 (six under par)... Finish second at the 1987 NCAA championship as an individual, missing the cut after three rounds.... Lead the team with 74.21 scoring average; 73.26 during the spring... Struggled slightly as a senior, averaging 74.40 strokes per round... Tied for seventh at the Southeastern Intercollegiate, his only top 10 finish of the season... Helped the Eagles to a 14th-place finish in the 1988 NCAA Championship... Advanced to the semifinals of the 1987 U.S. Amateur, earning a spot in the 1988 Masters... started on the Nike Tour in 1982.
