A four-year letterman for the football Eagles (1983-86)... Helped Southern to a 40-12 record and its first two Divisional I-AA national championships during his career... Was a member of the vaunted Hambone offensive attack... Is the school's all-time leader in average yards per carry for a career (6.8) and second for season (7.4 in 1985)... Added 226 rushing yards during the playoff run... Caught a team high 23 passes for 125 yards that season... Carried 104 times for 606 yards as a sophomore and 67 times for 349 yards as a freshman... Scored 14 touchdowns during his career... Topped the 100-yard rushing mark six times during his career, including three games as a junior... Caught a 79-yard touchdown pass from Tracy Ham, the longest in school history at that time, for Southern's final points in the 48-21 victory over Arkansas State in the 1986 title game.
