Radio Announcer/Supporter/Administrator, 1970-2006... The “Voice of the Eagles” has brought the exciting action of Eagle athletics into the homes of thousands in the state of Georgia and Bulloch County area for 35-plus years... Called all Eagle Football on the GSU Sports Network since the program’s revival in 1982 after first becoming involved with the athletics department as a play-by-play man for Eagle basketball during the 1971-72 season... Established history in 1973 when he began broadcasting baseball games, marking the first time a commercial radio station in the U.S. carried a school’s entire schedule... Painted vivid pictures of two College World Series appearances in 1973 and 1990 and called the action of all six NCAA I-AA National Champion seasons in 1985, 1986, 1989, 1990, 1999 and 2000... In addition, he was courtside during all three of GSU basketball’s NCAA Tournament appearances in 1983, 1987 and 1992.
