Women's Tennis, 1980-83... Compiled a regular season career singles record of 53-6 and earned all-state and all-region honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior... Suffered only one singles loss as a junior, in the finals of the AIAW national competition in Greeley, Colorado... Helped guide the program to three consecutive trips to national competition... Won state and regional titles in singles and doubles... Part of strong #2 doubles team, which finished fourth at nationals in 1982... Currently active in promoting the game of tennis and volunteering time and instruction at the Junior Club level... Has also donated her time for various charitable causes, including the Medical College of Georgia Children's Medical Center and the Rainbow Camp for children stricken with cancer.
