Lettered four years in men's soccer – 1986 and 1988-90. He is the Georgia Southern career leader in shots on goal with 189 and is tied for third in career goals after finding the net 30 times and is also third in career assists with 24. Stands fourth in career points with 84. Earned selection to the first-team of the NSCAA All-South squad in 1986 and 1990 and is one of just three Eagles all-time to earn that honor. Scored 10 game-winning goals during his career. Led the team in points in 1986, 1989, and 1990 while leading the squad in goals scored in 1989 and 1990. Paced the team in assists in 1986 with 10. He was named to the All-Trans America Athletic Conference team in 1986, 1989 and 1990 and was also selected as the TAAC Player-of-the-Year in 1990. Guided the Eagles to a record of 45-26-2 during his four-year career. Played professionally for the Drogheda United (First Division-Ireland) in 1993, the Atlanta Magic (MISL) in 1994-95 and the Atlanta Ruckus (A-League) in 1996-97.
