Prep: Three-year varsity letterwinner for the Frisco Centennial High School Titans • All-district all-academic all four years • Helped lead the Titans to FISD Tournament Championship in 2008 and 2009 • Titans won District Championship in 2009 • First-team all-district and "Made the Difference" coaches award winner her senior season • Named MVP Frisco ISD Tournament after leading the Titans to the championship • Earned second-team all-district her junior season and named Varsity Newcomer of the Year after her sophomore season.
Personal: Full name is Lauren Michelle LaRocque • Born July 17, 1992, in Amarillo, Texas • Daughter of Shawnda and Phil LaRocque • Hobbies include photography, swimming and anything outdoors (rock climbing, hiking, cycling) • Craziest ambition is to become a National Geographic photographer • Chose Georgia Southern because she loved the campus, coaches and especially the team • Lists her parents as having the biggest influence on her athletic career because "they were willing to let me try any sport I wanted no matter what, or the sacrifices they had to make in order to let me play."
