Junior (2012-13): Set GSU record in 100 Fly (56.59) to place 15th at CCSA Championships…Also placed 11th in the 200 Back (2:04.57) and 16th in the 100 Back (58.06)…Named CCSA All-Academic for Fall semester.
Sophomore (2011-12): Swam backstroke leg on All-CCSA and GSU record-breaking 400 Medley Relay... Posted three lifetime bests at 2012 CCSA Championships... Finished 6th in the 100 Back (57.34), 7th in the 200 Back (2:02.99), and 11th in the 100 Fly (57.06)... Earned Dean's List and CCSA All-Academic recognition both semesters.
Prep: Attended Greenwood High School... Team captain... Holds school records in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 100 Back and 100 Fly... Earned All-Regional and all-state honors... National Honor Society and Beta Club member... Swam for the Greenwood YMCA Gators.
Personal: Full name is Sarah Ann Schwartz... Daughter of Jack and Debbie Schwartz... Has three sisters: Abby, Susan and Kate... Most admires Coach Justin Clossen, her mom and sisters... Biggest influence is her mom because "she always knows what is best for me"... Most treasured possession is her blanket "because I've had it since I was a baby and it goes everywhere with me"... Enjoys reading and playing the flute... Moment in history she would want to see is one of the first Olympic Games... Talent would most like to have is to be able to sing... Chose Georgia Southern because of the beautiful campus and the people are so welcoming... Career objective is to become a nurse anesthetist...
