Freshman (2011-12): Swam three life-time best times in the 100 Fly (1:00.08), 100 Free (54.76) and 200 Free (1:58.28) at the 2012 CCSA Championships… Named CCSA All-Academic for Fall 2012 semester.
Prep: Attended Hillgrove High School... Earned four varsity letters... Holds school records in the 100 Fly and 400 Free... District Honor Band participant... Swam for the Stingrays Swimming club.
Personal: Full name is Hannah Kendyl Rogers... Daughter of Chris and Kim Rogers... Born on July 4, 1993... Has a sister Madeline (14)... Most admires her grandma because “she is the most positive person and makes everyone feel like they are special”... Biggest influence is her family, friends and coaches who “make me laugh and always cheer me up”... Most treasured possessions are her friends, camera and dog Ollie... Enjoys skiing, tubing and being with her friends and family... Event would most like to attend is a Lady Gaga concert... Talent would most like to have is to be able to sing... Chose Georgia Southern because of the teaching program, the atmosphere and the closeness of the swim team... Career objective is to become an elementary school teacher...
