Jessica Harris Joins the Women's Basketball Staff

Statesboro, Ga. - Jessica Harris joins the Women's Basketball staff as a graduate assistant coach.

Her duties will include working with the post players, the coaching staff, arranging travel plans and facilitating tape exchange.

“When I met her she impressed me. I was doing a camp at her high school where she was coaching. I was impressed by the way she worked and handled herself out on the court. In the month or two that she has already been here it has been a world of difference. She is doing a great job and picking up things fast. She pays a lot of attention to detail,” said Coach Cram.

She will also be working towards a master’s degree in Sport Management.

“It is an awesome opportunity to work with Coach Cram at Georgia Southern. I am excited about the possibilities that this job could lead too,” said Harris.

She joins the staff after coaching the Brantley County Middle School team.

Harris received her degree in Middle School Education from Armstrong Atlantic.

She played basketball at Brantley County high school where she helped lead her team to a regional championship in her senior season and played in the North South high school All-Star game.
