Flynn Honored as SoCon Player of the Week
Competing in his final two collegiate matches, Flynn came away with a pair of wins in singles play. He posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Chattanooga’s Jackson Tresnan at No. 4 singles. Flynn then moved to No. 5 singles where he topped Samford’s Scott Foster in three sets (6-2, 2-6, 6-4) to give him a five-match win streak to close the season.
Teaming with Jayraj Jadeja, the Eagles tandem was undefeated, opening the week with an 8-6 victory over Chattanooga’s Stephen Crofford and Chris Smith. Flynn and Jadeja then outlasted Samford’s Zac Dunkle and Oliver Reynolds, 9-8 at No. 2 doubles. It was the fourth consecutive victory for Flynn and Jadeja.
Other top performers in the Southern Conference included College of Charleston’s Mickael Boyer, Furman’s Carl Lundberg and Wofford’s Tom Wood.
